London Build: the solution to your labour shortages

London Build is back and we couldn’t be more excited. After a hiatus due to the pandemic this key event is back on the calendar and it’s sure to be as well attended as ever.

Nothing beats meeting fellow construction professionals in real life so pop along to Stand H93 (just along from the Fire Safety Stage) and meet the team.

The solution to your labour shortages

The construction industry is currently facing a host of challenges including labour supply. At Skilled Labour Services we strongly believe that forming close relationships with suppliers and clients alike is key to tackling them head-on.

If you’re facing labour supply challenges, come and have a chat with Rich, Liane and Andy to find out how we can help. Our existing clients already know that by choosing to work with us, they have a better chance of securing labour when they need it the most.

Why?

Quite simply, we take the time to get to know our clients and take care of our workforce.

Our workforce is the lifeblood of our business and the key to your project’s success. That’s why we provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, competitive rates of pay, and work closely with clients to do all we can to improve the working conditions of our teams.

After all, we are STRONGER TOGETHER

Which brings us nicely onto our exciting new fundraising campaign being launched at London Build – and you can be part of it.

Mental Health Matters

  • Did you know that every working day in the UK sees two construction workers taking their own life?
  • Or that stress, anxiety and depression accounts for one fifth of all work related absences?

Skilled Labour Services founder Rich Allen is a passionate believer that, collectively, the construction industry can (and should) do more to help look after our workforces.

That’s why he’s set himself the incredible target of completing his 50th (yes – his 50th!) marathon at the 2022 London Marathon and is marking this milestone to raise vital funds for The Lighthouse Charity.

Come and build a lighthouse for the Lighthouse Club

During London Build we’ll be running a host of fun activities on Stand H93 to kickstart our fundraising campaign for the Mental Health Charity, The Lighthouse Club.

Come and add your own brick in the wall – we’re building a lighthouse for The Lighthouse Charity and you can take part too. Sign your brick, place it in the structure and we’ll donate a £1 per brick.

Take your place on the Polaroid Wall of Fame. Everyone who supports the campaign will be added to the Polaroid Wall of Fame.
